In accordance with the Marriages and Civil Partnerships (approved Premises) Regulations 2005 and on behalf of the General Register office, we are required to publicise all pending applications for approved venue status to hold ceremonies. 

The public notice consultation runs for 21 days from the date of the notice.

TAKE NOTICE that Brighton & Hove City Council has received an application from Abigail Thomas 4/5 Pavilion Buildings, Brighton BN1 1EE for the grant of an approval of premises known as The Royal Pavilion, Brighton for the Solemnisation of Marriages and the registration of Civil Partnerships pursuant to The Marriage and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises)(Amended) Regulations 2011.

A copy of the Application and the accompanying plan may be inspected at the Town Hall, Bartholomews, Brighton between 9:30am and 4:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays or between 10am and 4:30pm on Wednesdays.

Any person may give notice in writing of an objection to the grant of approval, with reasons for the objection, within 21 days from the date on which this notice is published by writing to Paul Holloway, Proper Officer for Registration Matters, Brighton & Hove City Council, Brighton Town Hall, Bartholomews, Brighton BN1 1JA.
