Fees and cancellations for ceremonies

Use these tables to find fees for your ceremony. 

Fees apply to ceremonies from 1 April to 31 March of the following year. 

A non-refundable booking fee of £175 is included in all ceremony fees listed below. In case of cancellation with more than one month’s notice your ceremony fee (less £175) will be refunded. 

No refund will be given with less than one months’ notice of cancellation.

* The Bijou Ceremony is a basic ceremony in a shorter time slot offered at a reduced rate. It is only available in the Floral Room on Wednesdays at 9:30am, 10am and 10:30am. Due to the limited time available music, readings or additional vows cannot be included.

Standard slots in The Floral Room can be booked at all other times as part of the Regency Suite. 

Regency Suite fees apply to the Regency Room, Fitzherbert Room and the Floral Room. Ceremonies are on the hour.

All Town Hall fees include:

• your ceremony room of choice
• your registrars
• 2 statutory certificates (posted to you after the ceremony)
• a unique Brighton & Hove celebratory certificate which is presented at your ceremony

• civil partnership conversions

All celebratory ceremonies include a consultation with your celebrant who will create a bespoke script with you. 

Fees include your script, celebrant and a commemorative certificate. For all ceremonies in Brighton Town Hall they also include the room hire.

Attendance at other venues does not include the venue fee and you will need to book this separately
