How to licence your venue for ceremonies

Apply for a licence to become an approved venue for ceremonies in Brighton & Hove.

Brighton & Hove is full of unique venues. If you own or manage a venue, you can apply for a licence to hold marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. 

To become an approved venue, your venue must be:

  • a permanent structure
  • open to the public
  • non-religious in nature

The licence runs for three years from the date of approval.
