In accordance with the Marriages and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises) Regulations 2005 and on behalf of the General Register office, we're required to publicise all pending applications for approved venue status to hold ceremonies.
The public notice consultation runs for 21 days from the date of the notice.

TAKE NOTICE that Brighton & Hove City Council has received an application from: Karl Jones, Cake ‘n’ Stuff, T/A Reading Room, 44 Grand Parade, Brighton, BN2 9QA
for the grant of an approval of premises known as: Reading Room, Madeira Drive, Black Rock, Brighton, BN2 1FY
for the Solemnisation of Marriages and the registration of Civil Partnerships pursuant to The Marriage and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises)( Amended) Regulations 2011.
A copy of the Application and the accompanying plan may be inspected at the Town Hall, Bartholomews, Brighton between:
- 9.30 am and 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
- 10am and 5pm on Wednesdays
