All aboard for neighbourhood events in Whitehawk and Hangleton & Knoll
Two events focussing on neighbourhood public services and community engagement are being held on Wednesday 20 September.
An open day in Whitehawk includes activities, information, entertainment, market stalls, food and refreshments, and a free raffle.
At its heart, will be a chance to share the neighbourhood action plan created for the area by local residents. It’s also an opportunity to increase engagement with a wider group of local people and partner organisations.
The event runs from 11am to 6pm centred around the Whitehawk Library, Wellsbourne Health Centre and Roundabout Children’s Centre.
There’s also an open meeting to look at the Hangleton & Knoll neighbourhood action plan. The meeting runs from 10am until 12 noon at St Richard’s Church & Community Centre in Egmont Road, Hove.
The events are part of the council’s Communities and Neighbourhoods work, aiming to bring together services around community needs and enable residents to have a stronger involvement and influence in decisions about their local area.
Everyone's welcome - come along to find out more and get involved.
