Offering 1 to 1 support for young people with additional needs who are thinking of their next steps. For pre-booked appointments.

Wellbeing advice

Time: 11:30am to 2pm.

Wellbeing courses

Time: 1:30pm to 2:30pm.

Art in mind session

Time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

Yoga and breathwork

Innovate with social media and start a career you've always wanted.

Youth employability service

Information, advice, and guidance for anyone aged 16 to 25 to access education, employment, or training. Drop in.

Time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

Available weekly offering CV, job and application support and interview practice.

Crafty creations

Fun and easy arts and crafts, run in small groups.

Run by Holly and Elena, runs fortnightly.

Cooking classes with Fareshare

Learn to cook sustainably in a safe and friendly environment.

Not a weekly event.

BHT: Employability and skills placement programme

For those aged between 18 and 25 who are facing barriers to work due to their background, skills and experience. Drop in.

Date: Last Wednesday of the month.

National Careers Service

1 to 1 careers information, advice, and guidance for young people:

  • 19 or older, or
  • 18 and claiming universal credit

Date: Last Thursday of the month.

Get help with building confidence and improve your interview ability.

Prince’s Trust drop in

Princes Trust will be here to talk to young people about the courses they provide.

Yoga every Monday

Free yoga sessions for 16 to 25-year-olds. Sessions are run in small friendly groups and are suitable for all abilities. 

These sessions are structured around building confidence by: 

  • promoting a positive mindset 
  • teaching you new skills 
  • helping you to adapt to unfamiliar environments 

The sessions can help young people feel self-empowered to pursue work and feel less nervous in job interviews. 

The sessions will include elements of basic breath work which helps soothe anxiety and improve mental health and well-being. 

Some yoga mats will be provided however this is on a first come first serve basis so bring along a mat if you have one. You can also bring along a towel to use instead. 

Every Monday, 4pm to 4:45pm.

Social media sessions at the Youth Employment Hub

Join us for our social media sessions at the Youth Employment Hub. 

These sessions are for anyone aged between 16 to 25 who is looking to embark on the journey of finding the job that's right for them. 

Times: Monday 2 October, 2pm to 4pm.

  • new ways of writing a CV and cover letter to make applying for work easier 
  • how to approach employers and more

BFI Film Academy

If you're 16 to 19 and want to learn about or work in film, BFI Film Academy and Creative Process can help.

Their October 2023 short course is designed to inspire the next generation of UK filmmakers, helping you to develop new skills and build a career in the screen industries.

You don't need any previous experience.
