Entry to Construction – Tempus Training

Fully-funded online programme to help you get a CSCS card

Description

The construction industry offers a huge variety of roles and plenty of opportunities for career growth. With rising wages and huge demand, there's never been a better time to get into construction.

To get on-site you’ll need a CSCS Card. We can help you get yours for free through our fully-funded Entry to Construction programme.

We're currently offering online learning. Our online learning is designed to recreate the classroom experience closely, offering one-to-one tutor contact and a supportive learning environment. 

Qualification

On completion, learners can receive the following qualifications:

  • CSCS Card (5-year Operatives Green Card)
  • Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment
  • Level 1 Award in Employability
  • Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Warehousing and Storage
  • Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity

The course includes a presentation by a local construction recruitment agency with live vacancies The course also includes a guaranteed job interview.

Eligibility

To be eligible you must be 16 years old or over.

To be eligible you must also:

  • currently not be in work or education
  • be aged 25 and claiming a state benefit (Job Seeker's Allowance or Universal Credit) or aged 16 to 24 and can demonstrate you're not in education or employment
  • have UK legal residency with no restrictions 
  • have the right to work and receive public funds in the UK
  • have lived in the UK/EU for the last 3 years
  • have access to a laptop or PC with a working microphone and camera
