How to start your own business

You'll need to think about how you can build business skills and a business idea.

You should think about:

  • a problem and try to find a solution
  • how you can make something better
  • what you know, and what skills you have
  • experimenting with a few ideas

Working for yourself is hard work as well as rewarding. Consider some training, either through a short course or by undertaking a business traineeship.
