About the scaffolding licence access scheme
The scaffolding licence access scheme is for residents of the adjoining properties who wish to appoint scaffolders to access the cemetery land.
A licence fee is applicable as some of the land scaffolders need to cross may be endangered badger burrow land which we're obligated to protect.
The licence fee will also:
- stop trespassing from scaffolders at unwanted times
- prevent disruption to funeral services
- protect council property from third-party damage
