North Street and Windsor Street now open

North Street and Windsor Street are now open for pedestrians and road traffic (4pm on Friday 12 April).

The structure on the roof of Boots no longer presents an immediate danger to the public.

Scaffolding will remain in place. We will continue to liaise with Boots and their advisors.

Thanks to residents and businesses for their cooperation and patience to ensure everyone’s safety and to keep the city moving while work was taking place.
