Communal bin collections
Some communal waste collections are currently disrupted due to the need for essential repairs to specialist vehicles. Repairs are underway, and we expect to have them back on the road within the next week. Read our full update on communal bin collections.
Planning Register
There are currently some technical difficulties with the Planning Register. As an alternative, if you cannot access the register, send an email to planning.applications@brighton-hove.gov.uk.
The council’s response to the National Bus Strategy
The government published its National Bus Strategy, Bus Back Better, on 15 March 2021. The Bus Back Better strategy includes requirements for local transport authorities and bus operators.
These requirements include:
forming an Enhanced Partnership
producing a Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP)
The Bus Service Improvement Plan will make commitments to improve bus services.
