Roads adopted by Brighton & Hove City Council
The council has a register of all the highways maintained at public expense as well as the private roads within the city.
You can download the details of our Highways Land Search Register listing private and public roads in the form of the Traffic Search Information document.
Adopted roads within Brighton & Hove can also be viewed on our highways map.

The motorway and trunk road network is the responsibility of the Highways Agency. All enquiries concerning proposed motorway or trunk road improvements and extents of highways should be directed to the Highway Agency.
