City events

Make sure you apply in plenty of time. We must receive your fully completed application with all supporting documents at least 12 weeks before your event date.
Street parties and play streets

Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs) to carry out work
If you need to close a road or impose another type of restriction (such as one-way traffic or a long-term parking restriction) to carry out work, complete the form below.
Make sure you apply in plenty of time. TTROs can take up to 10 weeks to arrange.

Road closures or traffic management for filming
For any filming in the city, you'll need to contact the Events Info Team for their consent.
To apply for a road closure, or to use other traffic management for your filming:
- read the important information about filming on the public highway before sending us your application
- download the Traffic Management Application for Filming on the Highway form
Make sure you apply in plenty of time. We must receive your fully completed application with all supporting documents at least 12 weeks before your filming date.
