How to report a car blocking an EV charging bay
If you see a non-electric vehicle blocking access to a charger, or a vehicle parked in an EV charging bay that you believe should not be there, you can report it to us.
Please note that if an electric vehicle is occupying an EV charging bay but does not appear to be charging, the driver has not necessarily failed to start a charging session. In some cases, a charging session may have been interrupted after it was initiated.
To report a vehicle, phone the Rapid Response Team and select option 2. This is a 24-hour answerphone service.

Contact the Parking Enforcement Rapid Response Team for help with vehicles parked dangerously, causing an obstruction or non-electric vehicles blocking access to EV charging bays.
Leave a message with the vehicle and location. We aim to attend within one hour of receiving a complaint between 9am and 8pm.
We cannot always take enforcement action or relocate the vehicle; however, we take all reports seriously and prioritise enforcement visits for repeated bay blocking of charge points.
