Recycling points

Find a list of our recycling points in the city.

What you can take to our recycling sites and where to find them

There are two recycling sites - also called tips - one in Hove, off Old Shoreham Road and one in Brighton, off Wilson Avenue. They take household waste or recycling, electrical items, garden waste and some DIY waste. Find out how to get access to the sites.

Get access to city recycling sites

Residents can visit our household waste recycling sites by car. If you're in a van or commercial vehicle, you'll need photo ID and proof you live in the city.

Recycle small electrical items

WEEE banks are recycling points where you can take small electrical items, such as toasters, kettles and hairdryers.

Recycle food and drinks cartons

Find our carton or Tetra Pak recycling points in the city and how to get cartons ready for recycling.

Recycle clothes and shoes

Where to take unwanted clothes, shoes and textiles, and how doing so supports the local community.
