Tell us your plans to demolish a building

Inform us about a building that you plan to demolish so that you can get council approval.

Use this form to give us details of a building you are proposing to demolish.

You must submit this form at least 6 weeks before you plan to demolish the building. If this is not possible, please contact the Building Control team on 01273 292 050.

You'll need to tell us:

  • the building owner's name and contact details
  • the demolition contractor's name and contact details
  • the address and description of the property being demolished
  • the demolition start and end dates
  • your name and email address

You'll also need to:

  • upload a PDF or image file with a 1:1250 Ordnance Survey map of the site location
