About the waiting list

If you're a hackney carriage or private hire driver that meets the conditions of entry, you can apply to go onto the hackney carriage vehicle licence waiting list.  

We only accept applications from 1 March to 31 March each year. We won't include applications received at any other time of the year on the waiting list. 

What you'll need to apply

You'll need to:

• meet the conditions of entry
• tell us about the licences you have
• submit your application between 1 March and 31 March
