Over the coming few years we will work with schools to explore the Stanmer stories and be inspired by the rich heritage and wonderful landscape.
We hope you enjoy the teacher resources we've designed for your primary school pupils. Take the classroom resources further by planning a visit to Stanmer Park itself, and explore the areas that we have restored in 2021 with the help of a Heritage Lottery Fund grant.
The team at Stanmer Park look forward to welcoming you and your pupils. The park is just a few miles from central Brighton and easy to get to using a range of sustainable transport options.
You can use the teacher resources in your school, but they also lend themselves to doing self-guided visits of the park. Please see our Teacher Guide to Self-Guided Visits for more information on how to plan and conduct a visit.
To book a visit or to receive a Teacher Welcome Pack and Booking Form please email stanmerlearning@brighton-hove.gov.uk.
