Resources developed for the PSHE Smile Project for reception classes and other infant classes

These resources have been developed by School Travel and Public Health Schools, Brighton & Hove City Council.

You can adapt any of the resources as needed.

  1. The Smile Book

You can use this PDF version in different ways:

  • print the whole book or individual pages
  • use the individual pages for your own adapted lesson
  • upload it to your own school website
  • send the book as a weblink or PDF to parents and carers

Hard copies have been offered to all schools taking part in the Smile project.

These printable certificates are for children who have taken part in the Smile PSHE project lessons. The document has an A4 printable certificate and 2 A5-sized certificates on an A4 sheet.

This booklet has ideas for parents and carers on how to use the ‘6 ways to smile’ with young children when out and about and at home.
