How and when we grit pavements

During severe weather our street cleaning teams help clear snow and ice from pavements across the city.

How we decide what to clear

We'll prioritise the worst affected areas of the city and the city centre.

Unfortunately we do not have resource to clear every pavement and road.

We'll update this page when cold weather is anticipated.
