About BLUEPRINT to a Circular Economy

BLUEPRINT to a Circular Economy, funded by the Interreg France (Channel) England programme, was the first project of its kind. It provided practical solutions for designing out waste and pollution by reusing, repairing and recycling existing resources.

The project brought together world-class research centres and councils to:

  • provide a framework to help us move to a circular economy
  • aim to increase household recycling rates
  • drive the creation of new jobs

The total project budget was €5.6 million, of which €3.8 million was awarded by the European Regional Development Fund via the Interreg France (Channel) England programme

The project ran until March 2023.
