Part of the Adolescent Service

The Adolescent Service is based at 1 Regency Road in the city centre. The service involves council staff and many partners working together to support children and young people who are experiencing a range of difficulties.

There are 6 services based in the building. They are:

  • Youth Offending Service (YOS)
  • Adolescent Social Work Team
  • Youth Employability Service (YES)
  • Family First Team
  • Adolescent Health Service
  • Extended Adolescent Service (outreach work)

The Adolescent Health Service includes a small team of CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) workers who support workers and users of the Adolescent Service.

The ru-ok? team offers support to under 18s on sexual health and substance use.

Being together in one place allows young people the opportunity to meet workers with expertise in many different areas. Members of the public can’t refer directly to most of these services, but ru-ok? will accept referrals from anyone.
