Details of lighting scheme

What you need to provide

For illuminated adverts, a lighting scheme needs to provide details of:

• levels of luminance, for example 300 or 600 candela per square metre
• method and extent of illumination, like halo, intermittent or scrolling
• times of operation for illumination

This information should be provided on the application form, plans or as a separate statement
