eVisas and how to get an account
An online immigration status (eVisa) is an online record of:

From 1 January 2025, the eVisa will replace Biometric Resident Cards and Permits.
You must create a UKVI account and use the view and prove service to:
- access your eVisa
- share information about your immigration status and conditions, such as your right to:
- work or rent in the UK
