What you'll need to apply

You need confirm that the NHS or agency you work for is paying for the permit. 

If you're employed by the NHS, you'll need to provide:

• your contact details
• an NHS address
• a valid NHS email address
• payment card details or a purchase order number

If you're employed by a care agency, you'll need to provide: 

• your contact details
• your agency address
• a signed letter from your employer giving details of the care you provide, on letterheaded paper and dated within the last 3 months

You cannot renew a professional carers parking permit. If you need a new permit, start a new application
