MyAccount temporarily unavailable

Some users may experience intermittent issues signing into our MyAccount service. This is due to high demand following the issuing of new Council Tax bills for the 2026/27 financial year.  If you do experience any issues signing in, try again later.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Communal bin collections

Some communal waste collections are currently disrupted due to the need for essential repairs to specialist vehicles. Repairs are underway, and we expect to have them back on the road within the next week. Read our full update on communal bin collections.

Planning Register

There are currently some technical difficulties with the Planning Register. As an alternative, if you cannot access the register, send an email to planning.applications@brighton-hove.gov.uk.

Parking fine scam

We're aware of a national scam where people are asked to pay parking fines via text. We'll never text you to request a payment for a parking fine. We'll only contact you about parking fines via letter or email. If you have any doubts, contact the Parking Team.
