The Permit Team have streamlined and improved the application and renewal process for all residents by implementing an auto verification feature in the permit system. Residents who are on the council tax register and are successfully auto verified are no longer asked to upload proof of residency. This has reduced t the amount of time someone spends applying or renewing a permit or purchasing visitor parking permits.

On average, 70% of visitor parking permit applications and 60% of all residential applications and renewals are now auto verified through this improved functionality.

For our staff, the above facility has reduced the amount of time officers take to assess an application making it easier for officers to complete cases.
