Parking Zone Y covers the northern area of central Brighton.

How the zone works

In zone Y there are:

• some areas set aside for the use of permit holders only
• some areas which are shared between permit holders and paid parking
• some areas which are for paid parking only
• short lengths of the road which are marked out for loading bays
• resident, visitor and carers permits available
• disabled and motorcycle bays available
• doctors bays also available throughout the zone

What hours the restrictions operate

Always check the signs on street. They will give you the information you need when you're parking.
