Cherish
The Cherish service provides an opportunity for 16 to 25 year olds with either moderate or severe learning disabilities to explore the great outdoors.
Two services are currently available. We have a shorter daytime and term time service that is £12. We also have a holiday period and longer day easter and summer scheme. This is £45 for service users with an individualised direct payments rate, and £29 for those without .
Both services are minibus based, with door to door transport. You will be in small groups and go for walks in the woods and forests in The Weald, and also on The Downs.
The summer schemes also includes opportunities for:
- outdoor yoga
- picnics
- paddling
- visiting outdoor museums
- going to tea gardens
- picking your own fruit and vegetables on a farm
To book your place on an easter or summer holiday scheme you'll need to fill out a questionnaire and a booking form. The easter booking period opens at the end of February, the summer one starts in mid-June.
