Support for social workers
Help and support for social workers in Brighton & Hove.
We have a clear vision of what good social work looks like, and how we will support you to achieve this. Read more about our vision for social work in Brighton & Hove (PDF 337KB).
We recognise that relationship-based practice requires social workers to have trust in themselves and the organisation that employs them.
Our service redesign is about creating a just and open organisational culture, which itself promotes and models the values of relationship-based practice and the values of Brighton and Hove City Council.
We have a range of different ways of supporting our social workers to practice in a reflective way to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
