A proposal to reopen Madeira Drive to one-way traffic, with a two-way protected cycle lane, more space for pedestrians and an increase in parking bays for blue badge holders will be considered by councillors next week.
From 1 August a new tariff will be introduced on BTN Bikeshare to help with the cost of running the scheme and ensure its continued success. It is one of the most successful bike share schemes in the UK and all revenue made by the council from the scheme is invested back into it.
We've been named as the winner of the Best Report at the Parking Annual Report Awards by Councils event, which was held at the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday 16 July. It is the third time the council has won the award, having previously been successful in 2016 and 2017.
