Local business Tech-Takeback has collected almost 27,000 small electrical items from residents in just one year. They've either refurbished the items for reuse in the local community or dismantled and recycled them.

Three tonnes of rubbish cleared from two mile stretch of A27

Our clean-up team took the opportunity to clear verges of a two-mile stretch of A27 while traffic was light and removed more than three tonnes of litter and rubbish.

More public toilets to reopen

We've now reopened seven more public toilets today after the Prime Minister's announcement. There are now 12 open in total in busy footfall areas.

Waste and recycling sites to reopen following new guidance

Our Household Waste Recycling Sites will open again on Monday 18 May. There will be tight restrictions in place and the sites should only be used where 'absolutely necessary'.
