Dirt, tags and stickers washed away as city sleeps

We're carrying out a blitz of some of the dirtiest streets and pavements in the city centre. As part of our drive to Keep Brighton & Hove Tidy, we're encouraging everyone to do their bit to keep the city clean.

Clean-up across the city on the busy Pride weekend

Over the Pride weekend, the council’s Cityclean staff worked around the clock dealing with rubbish and recycling. About 67 metric tonnes was collected - the equivalent of almost seven fully compacted refuse lorries of rubbish or around 67,000 full binbags.
