Stanmer Park

Major road resurfacing work in Stanmer Park

Work to resurface roads and car parks in Stanmer Park starts on Monday 2 November. It's expected to last two weeks and will cause disruption for vehicles entering the park with limited access to car parks. Look out for signs and diversions.

Hollingbury Golf course and The Circle venue – a new beginning

Hollingbury Golf Course is now under new management after The Circle Brighton Limited was granted a lease from Brighton & Hove City Council. The new leaseholders are now working hard to improve the course and club house.

New play facilities at Stanmer Park

Celebrations as new playground opens in Stanmer Park

Children of all ages and abilities are enjoying the new play area in in Stanmer Park. The new playground also includes equipment for less able youngsters including a toddler and basket swing and accessible roundabout.

Funfair at The Level to close today

We’ve asked the funfair on The Level to close on advice from the city’s Public Health team.

New cafe opens in Saunders Park

A new cafe has opened in Saunders Park. Run by Max Calesini, Laz' in the Park has an outside seating area and serves coffee, snacks, ice cream and home-made food, including vegan and gluten free options.
