Golf courses on the market

The council is looking for new leaseholders for the golf courses at Hollingbury and Waterhall for the next 25 years. As the number of people playing golf continues to fall, the council will also consider other leisure proposals for the two sites which sit within the South Downs National Park.

Harvesting seeds at Stanmer Park

Thousands of wildflower seeds have been collected from Stanmer Park by experts from the Millenium Seedbank at Wakehurst. The seeds will be stored at the Seedbank over the Winter ready for sowing in Spring. The work is part of the Stanmer Restoration Project.
