Rates of Covid start to slow in Brighton & Hove The first signs that lockdown is working are reflected in latest data showing 1,438 confirmed new cases of Covid-19 in the city in the seven days up to 15 January - a 36% decrease per 100,000 residents from the previous week. 21 January 2021
Rates of Covid continue to rise in Brighton & Hove The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Brighton & Hove has more than doubled since the current national lockdown started on 26 December. The city now has more confirmed cases per 100,000 than England and the rest of the South East. In the seven days up to 8 January, based on data published on 13 January, there were 2244 confirmed new Covid-19 cases in Brighton & Hove which is an 18% increase per 100,000 residents from the previous week. 14 January 2021
