Understanding Covid testing

With recent changes to testing and isolation guidance, it can be difficult to know what advice to follow. But take lateral flow tests when you're meeting others and if you have any symptoms, get a PCR. If you test positive on either, you must self-isolate.

As the city remains in Tier 4 with numbers of Covid cases rising, the city's Public Health Team asks people not to have parties or gatherings marking the New Year.

Covid-19: Brighton & Hove moves to 'Tier 4 – Stay at Home' on Boxing Day

The government have announced that Brighton & Hove is to move to Tier 4 from Boxing Day. The stay at home rules come in from 00.01 on Boxing Day morning.
