As the city remains in Tier 4 with numbers of Covid cases rising, the city's Public Health Team asks people not to have parties or gatherings marking the New Year.

The government have announced that Brighton & Hove is to move to Tier 4 from Boxing Day. The stay at home rules come in from 00.01 on Boxing Day morning.
