First climate assembly meets

Brighton & Hove’s citizens assembly on climate met for the first time on 22 September to discuss how we can reduce carbon emissions from transport use in the city.

Local paper publishes fake quote from council leader

In the print edition of today’s The Argus newspaper, the front page story featured a photo of council leader, Councillor Nancy Platts, with the quote “We can’t cope”. Councillor Platts did not say this, it was made up by The Argus.

From now until the end of October, electoral canvassers will be visiting homes in Brighton & Hove to confirm the list of people who are registered to vote at each property.
