Brighton & Hove's discretionary grant fund for small businesses is coming soon. Councillors agreed the proposals at the Policy & Resources (Recovery) Sub-Committee on 29 May.

The council has bought Lyndean House in Queen's Road as part of its investment programme. The four-storey building offers 16,555 square feet of office and retail space in the heart of the city’s central business district.

Brighton's flagship Shelter Hall is set to become the city's first Food Hall. The project, run by new company Sessions Market, will be home to up to ten independent Brighton & Hove food businesses offering a wide range of cuisine.
