Hold onto your hats - a murder is announced!
Hold onto your hats and keep your family and friends close – a murder is about to take place on the Volk's Railway!
Following on from last year’s sell out success, murder mystery fans are again invited to board the world’s oldest electric railway for a thrilling, interactive performance.
‘Murder on the Volks,’ an original immersive murder mystery experience produced by Touched Theatre and co-written with a Volk's Railway driver, will run from October 21 to 24, starting at 7pm.
Gathering clues
Set in 1937 and inspired by Brighton's thrilling history, guests are invited to a wedding reception where a shocking murder takes place. Throughout the evening, the audience will gather clues, as the night unfolds itself, before the final reveal.
Tickets include a two-course meal (vegan and gluten-free options available) and a night-time ride aboard one of Volk's Railway's heritage trains. A licensed bar serving wine, beer and soft drinks will also be available on site.
At the end of the evening, guests will submit their final accusation, with a prize awarded to the person who correctly identifies the murderer.
Guests are encouraged to embrace the late 1930s setting, and dress in period-inspired attire, including railway workers, gangsters and wedding guests and to wrap up warm for the train ride.
