Update on Madeira Terrace available at public event
Residents will be able to hear more about the restoration progress from our lead contractor Mackley at a Madeira Terrace update event on Wednesday 14 May.
You'll learn about what's happened since the last meeting (29/1/25) and what's coming up over the next few months, and you'll have the opportunity to ask questions. The council officers managing the project will also be available.
The Madeira Terrace Restoration (phase 1) public progress meeting will take place at Sea Lanes on Madeira Drive, Wednesday 14 May, 5pm to 6.30pm.
Space is limited so if you’d like to attend, you'll need to book a place online.
Visible progress clear for all to see
Councillor Julie Cattell, lead councillor for Major Projects, said: “It’s been exciting to see so much visible progress at Madeira Terrace in the past few months.
“It looks dramatically different on site, so I expect residents are curious to know more.
“Community support for the project has been fantastic, but we do recognise how much impact it has on local residents and businesses. These events are a great opportunity for people to hear about the work – and for the team to listen to local concerns.”
