Share your views on childcare in Brighton & Hove
We’ve launched a survey to help us to understand the demand for childcare places in Brighton & Hove and to support childcare providers in the city to meet the needs of local families.
You can share your experiences of accessing childcare on the Your Voice consultation and engagement platform until Sunday 23 March. At the end of the survey, you’ll be given the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a £100 shopping voucher.
Feedback from the survey will be reported to members of the council and published on our website as part of the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment 2025.
Councillor Emma Daniel, Cabinet member for Children, Families and Youth Services, said: “We want to hear your views on childcare in Brighton & Hove so we can better understand the demand for local childcare services.
“We’re keen to hear from everyone who has experience of using childcare in Brighton & Hove – from your reasons for using childcare and how you pay for it, to the impact childcare has on your family’s finances and your ability to work.
“Your feedback will be used to inform our Childcare Sufficiency Assessment, which in turn will help us ensure childcare providers across the city are able to meet the needs of our communities.”
