Corporate volunteering with our rangers – start 2025 with a team away day
Businesses across Brighton & Hove are being given the chance to kick off the new year out in the fresh air.
We’re encouraging organisations across the city to support their local parks, nature reserves and green spaces by volunteering with our Rangers.
Conservation volunteering is great way for your business to help make a difference locally. Having your team working together in the great outdoors can be a fun and rewarding way to spend the day.
All tools, gloves, and guidance will be provided.
Late last year, we spent time with local travel company Responsible Travel when they spent the day at Stanmer Park.
Tim Williamson, Joint Managing Director of Responsible Travel said: “We’ve been doing it since the start of the company, we’ve been working with the council for 18 years and we just love it.
“When we do our staff surveys, they nearly always talk about the volunteer days as the highlights of the year. I think you get so much out of it as a company, don’t worry too much about the days off and the loss of productivity, you get it back in bucket loads.”

Councillor Alan Robins, Cabinet Member for Sports and Recreation said: “Volunteering with our Rangers is a great way to start 2025.
“It’s a chance to get out of the office for the day and support your local area. It’s the perfect team building activity for your organisation and a chance to take in some of the beautiful parks and open spaces we have in the city.
“I’d encourage any company, charity or business to get in touch with our Rangers and kick off the new year getting out and about.”
