Share your thoughts on Pride events in Brighton & Hove
Preparation for Pride in August is already well underway, and now we want to look ahead to events in 2025 and beyond and hear your views.
Over the next six weeks, we want you to share your thoughts on how the Pride weekend affects you, what you think of the organised events and other activities that take place in the city. We also want to get a clear understanding of how you would like to see Pride celebrations develop in the future.

The survey is open until 30 June and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
In addition to the online survey, residents are also welcome to talk to the council’s Outdoor Events team face to face on Friday 14 June:
- 1pm to 2.30pm, Park View Café (The Basement Bar)
- 5pm to 6.30pm, Fitzherbert Community Hub
Councillor Leslie Pumm, Cabinet Member for Communities, Equalities & Human Rights, said: “Pride is very personal to me. I experienced my first Pride in 2010 and the feeling of liberation, being a judgement-free zone and being my true self is something I want to champion and help preserve for generations to come.
“Year after year Pride continues to support and celebrate our LGBTQ+ communities and we can be proud that the event creates one of the largest safe spaces in Europe.
“It provides vital local fundraising opportunities, brings a massive boost to the local economy and brings international recognition for the city. We also recognise that it makes huge impression on residents and the running of the city.
“By listening to how people feel about Pride we can continue to ensure it’s an inclusive, accessible and successful experience for all.”
