About local nature recovery
Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS) are a nationwide initiative to help reverse declining habitats and species.
Councils are working together to develop two strategies for the region - one covering East Sussex and Brighton & Hove, and another for West Sussex.
We need your input to agree nature recovery priorities for the local area. The webinar is an opportunity for residents to find out more about the proposals for Sussex and hear about how we’re collecting ecological evidence.
How to get involved
This includes experiences and observations recorded by residents in the LNRS survey. There’s still time to take part in the survey which closes on 30 June.
You’ll also hear from local people and organisations already taking action to help nature in Sussex – including Wilding Waterhall, Sussex Ornithological Society, Sussex Youth Rangers and more.
