Spirited and determined communities
Council Leader Bella Sankey said: “I am looking forward to an evening of conversation and insights, this time with the residents of scenic Rottingdean, Saltdean and Ovingdean.
“The spirit and determination of these communities is evident even in our meeting place, the beautiful, newly refurbished Saltdean Lido, which was saved by passionate volunteers and now serves as a thriving hub for locals and visitors.
“Being able to meet with the city’s diverse communities and residents in person has been invaluable to me and my team, to help us build connections and deliver targeted, meaningful policy change.
“I am grateful to all residents who take the time to come meet me at my public meetings and surgeries and who continue to contribute to making our city a better place to live.”
