A grace period of 21 days is in place for all parking permit holders. This means you can display your parking permit for 21 days after the expiry date printed on it. As long as you've submitted your renewal application and you're parked according to the conditions of your current parking permit, you will not receive a fine.
This year’s annual Ageing Well Brighton & Hove festival runs from Friday 27 September until Friday 11 October, with lots of opportunities for people aged 50 and over to explore new experiences and meet new people.
Councillor Tristram Burden, Cabinet member for Adult Social Care, Public Health and Service Transformation, said: “The Ageing Well festival celebrates Brighton & Hove as a city where we can age well, and highlights the range of activities taking place that help reduce isolation, improve health and increase wellbeing in later life.
“The fantastic events are examples of the year-round activities available for those looking to meet new people and stay active. Come along and try something new and see what is on offer in our vibrant city. There really is something for everyone.”
Events across the city
Last year’s festival boasted almost 150 events hosted by 74 different businesses and organisations, across 58 venues throughout the city.
The festival is produced by Impact Initiatives, working alongside the council, as well as voluntary sector organisations and local businesses.
