Showcase of skill and hard work
Councillor Bruno De Oliveira, chair of the Health & Wellbeing Board, said: “This event brings together many talented dancers and shows off their skills and hard work. This year is our largest event yet with over 300 dancers and 29 groups talking part.
“Dance is a great way to be both active and social, I can’t wait to attend and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere.
“We are delighted that Dance Active is back for 2023. This wonderful evening displays the dance community talents and encourages more people to get involved.
“Dancing has a positive impact on your physical and mental wellbeing and a dance session can help improve your balance and co-ordination, as well as get you moving more and allow you to express yourself. It’s also an opportunity for making new friends and being part of a community.”
