Book your Covid vaccine this half term

Getting the Covid vaccine is the best way of protecting you and your family and friends from illness. Covid hasn’t gone away and there are still too many children and adults currently poorly.

If your child hasn’t had all their Covid vaccines yet through school, then take the chance during half term to go and have a vaccination, so the whole family has the best possible protection.

There are hundreds of appointments available to book for 12-to-15 year olds at Churchill Square Shopping Centre this week.

Appointments can be booked through the national booking website or by calling 119. A parent or carer must attend with the young person, and consent can be given on the day.

The option to book an appointment is in addition to sessions that have been taking place in secondary schools. Most schools in Brighton & Hove have now been visited to offer second doses or first doses to anyone who missed out at the original visit.

Further visits will take place after the half term break. Schools will share the dates and consent forms for these sessions.

For more information on vaccinations for 12-to-15 year olds, go to the Sussex Health and Care Partnership website.
